Test Roll (Kodak Starlet)

I friend found an early 1950s-era Kodak Starlet 127 at a flea-market and picked it up for me.  I didn’t have any 127 film, I’m not even sure it’s being made any more.  So I decided to try and fit a roll of 35mm and load it up.

I made a little film advance clicker, since all it had was a winding spool knob.  The clicker rode along the film and dropped into the sprocket holes when the film advanced.  By putting the camera close to my ear, I could count the number of sprocket holes to pass, and thus be sure the shot frame was completely advanced.  It worked well, if crudely.  a 36-frame roll got me about 15 of these wide panoramic looking shots.
